Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Review:Damn, this movie was really crap. It was too far from the comic books for anyone who was already a fan of the the Fantastic Four to possibly like, and too pointless and vapid for anyone who wasn't already a fan to take any interest in it. None of the characters even live up to the insult of being called cardboard cutout cartoon caricatures. The story was stupid to the point where I started hoping Galactus would hurry up and eat the world. But the worst part was that he never even showed up. I thought that whatever jackass directed this crapfest was just hiding him from us to build up the suspense. But it turns out that the Devourer of Worlds is really just a cloud. Back in the day, you could forgive this kind of garbage because it wasn't possible to make a giant pink and purple guy destroy a planet. But in this day and age, effects like that are easy to create. Al it takes is someone with half a brain to imagine them. I'm only giving it a 2 because Jessica Alba's hot, and because cheesy plot contrivances are your friend when they conspire to get her naked.
