Fruit Basket is the most common game of all for elementary school, so don't use it too much because the ids have already played it a million times. There are many variations, but the basic game is this: Divide the class into 3 or 4 groups, and assign each group 1 word from the set of vocabulary you are trying to teach: fruits is the obvious choice. Set up their chairs in one big circle, with one less than the number of people playing. The person stuck standing in the middle (probably you the first time) will pick one of the fruits and those kids have to get up and change seats. Whoever doesn't get a seat becomes the new "It" in the middle and names another fruit. They can also say "Fruit Basket!" at which everyone has to change seats and all hell breaks loose. THis game has the potential to get really unruly actually, and a kid can get picked on if he gets stuck in the middle too many times.
