Well, it is Thanksgiving back in America. Technically, not really because it is the middle of Wednesday night there right now. But it is Thursday here and that means Thanksgiving. Not that I ever got too excited about Thanksgiving. But they don't really have it here. Today for school lunch we had some sort of strange scallion chowder that we really quite good, but not turkey. I got talk about Thanksgiving a little bit in class today, and what we do in America. I drew a picture on the board of a turkey with its head kinda cut off and blood streaming out. It was of course saying "ittai!", which you will all of course remember is the Japanese word for "ouch." Everyone laughed, except for Shimizu-sensei unfortunately.
