Have you guys seen the new Eminem video? It's strange to find myself saying this as I am not a big Eminem fan or anything, but it's really a good video and you should go watch it. The general theme of the song and the video is "Fuck Bush" and I think I can go along with that. I am having a hard time understanding why anyone would vote for that asshole. Aside from starting this stupid Iraq war for no reason, he hasn't prosecuted it effectively and he didn't have a plan for finishing it. And his fiscal policy is so regressive and insane that I can't imagine anyone making less that $200,0000 a year benefitting from it, and even they will lose out when the economy drives all their investments into the mud. This is on top of all the basic tenets of American democracy that he has managed to erode during his time as President, and his overall tenuous relationship with the truth. What bugs me the most is all the fundamentalist Christians who will vote for him, even though he doesn't behave in a very Christian manner. I mean, he sure talks the talk and all, but a true Christian has humility and shows respect for all people, instead of bombing the shit out of them indiscriminately. And a true Christian would help the poor instead of selling all their futures to his friends. I'd sooner vote for Eminem.



It's such a funny thing. One of the other AETs is planning to vote for that Bush guy. All the other AETs are always trying to convince her to change her mind, but I can barely talk to her any more. She's the sweetest girl, so it's hard to fathom what's going on in her head. I don't know what to make of her. How can someone who lives abroad vote for someone who has such little regard for the international community?
