So I am back at school now. I had the first day of classes yesterday. I am half glad to be back and half not particularly glad. Mostly I am glad because I wasn't really doing anything at all before school started. I started reading the Harry Potter books, just because everyone had read them. I didn't find the first one too interesting, but they got more interesting as the series progressed. I am still lin the middle of the fifth book, which has ballooned to over 750 pages. But now I have classes to go to and all that, which is a little better. And there are lots of good kids here who I have been happy to see again and have been happy to see me again. But of course there are tons of bastards here as well, as I may have mentioned once or twice before. And it's so cold. There isn't any kind of central heating in schools, and they don't turn on the giant gas burning stoves unless all the kids start bitching their heads off. The worst part is the morning ride to school. Sometimes I think that it would suck worse if I was still going to Koyo, because the ride is so much longer, but the fact that I would actually want to go to Koyo would probably make some difference. I had my first judo practice of the new year yesterday, and it still managed to get hot in the dojo. So I guess I will have to practice more judo. I am really nervous about the next trial, and not just because I suck at judo; the place where they have it has like 40 foot ceilings and is therefore freezing cold, making it barely possible to move.
