Damn I should just write a script that uploads a post once a week entitled, "Another busy week." But this week, I really was busy. I moved into my new place. It's really nice. I am going to post some photos of it, I swear! It was a hectic move, but it's all finished now except for the fact that a lot of my stuff is still in boxes, especially the random stuff that has no real place and that I don't use very often. Also, I am missing some critical pieces of furniture, like a couch. But all in all, it's livable, if a bit fancy for my tastes. But I am still living, and I finally have high speed internet access (fibre optic) so I can begin posting inane shit with a little more regularity.

Also this week we had our performance at the Elementary School English Festival. Every year there is a festival where all the elementary schools with English clubs have to put together a small performance in English, and also the AETs all have to do a 30 minute performance. As the senior AET this year, it mainly fell on me to develop and manage the stupid thing. Although Megan did a lot more than me. But really it was a lot of pressure on the two of us, especially with all the lazy, uncooperative AETs, and I had no confidence that it was going to succeed even up until the very last minute. I didn't even have an on-stage role; I was in charge of all the geeky backstage shit. Overall it seemed to work out okay though. The kids were into it. Although we had them break a pinata on stage at the end, and it got really crazy like old ladies at a half-price prune sale. The kids went crazy for the candy, which I guess is a pretty predictable reaction. I will definitely NOT be posting any pictures of this shit.

One cool thing about this festival is that I got to see my kids from my old elementary school again. Although of course they mauled me. I had been going to this elementary school for like a year, and just stopped going there last month. But I wrote the performance that kids did and helped prepare all the props and stuff, so I was really looking forward to seeing it. It was Peter Pan, and it actually came out really well. There was one kid who is really good at English, even though he's only a fourth grader in elementary school and can't weigh more than 25 kilos, and he was so perfect for Peter Pan. I wanted to make him fly around the room, but the stage hands wouldn't let me string him up to anything.

So yeah, another tiring week. This next week should be better though. Tuesday and wednesday are the sports tournaments, so there is no going to class and lots of going to watch kids play sports. And no after school clubs means I will probably go home from school on time and go to bed at a decent hour. Could be nice for a change.

Pretty much all content on this page was created by Donkeymon. Probably not all of it, but most of it. Thank you for looking at it. I guess you shouldn't steal it, unless I stole it in the first place. But really I don't see what the big deal is.
