I am watching baseball on TV. It is really strange to watch, because I don't even really like baseball. They are having a sort of fake All-Star World Series here, where the All-Stars from the American MLB play against the All-Stars in the Japanese league for a seven game series. It is kindof interesting. Barry Bonds is absolutely destroying these poor little Japanese pitchers. Most interesting to me is the way everyone is eyeing Matsui, currently the biggest superstar in Japanese baseball, who will be starting with the New York Yankees next season. All the American players are very curious about him, and the cameramen or directors of this broadcast seem to be absolutely obsessed with their reaction to him. Of course they are also very interested in Ichiro, but they show all his games live here when he plays in Seattle anyway. Which puts the games on at very odd times of the day here, but people still watch them. They are very into baseball. Personally I don't really understand it so much.
