In Bangkok - Day 1

So I am in Bangkok now, safe and alive and all that. It is really nice here! The weather is great, although it is still morning so I expect it will get really hot and muggy soon. It was 85 degrees last night and very humid when we got off the plane. Last night we got in about 2315, got to the hotel about 100 and started wandering around. I got some great pad thai for 10 bhat, which is less than a quarter in US Dollars. Everything is this cheap here. And there are sooo many foreigners. Too many really, but it is obvious that this is a very fun place. Thai is a very difficulty language but I will try to learn a little bit of it here. Today we are going to go shopping and screw around at some wats and then go to see some muay thai kickboxing. More later...
