Now I am back in Bangkok. I will be back in Japan in a few days and I am really looking forward to it. I didn't miss America this much when I left, but I guess that Japan and America are fairly similar in many ways and it wasn't very different. I have been very sick for the last few dys, but I still had some fun. I had (I think) dehydration, sunstroke, malnutrition, and an ear infection. Mostly I just felt really really dizzy and couldn't eat anything, and the whole right side of my head really hurt. But I am all better now. We spent several days on the most amazing island, called Koh Koh Khao. It was practically deserted, but still had many amenities and one nice ersort, at which we stayed. There were some turtle biologists there and we hung out with them and got trashed. It was a really nice relaxing place. After that we went to Phuket, which is the tourist hellhole beach of Thailand. You may already be able to guess that I did not like it. No one on the tour did really, but we needed to go there because that is where the airport is for everyone who was leaving. That was the end of the official tour, but the three of us have found our way back to Bangkok for a few more days of shopping and troublemaking before returning to Koshigaya for New Year's Eve. If anyone wants anything specific from Thailand, let me know. Lots of stupid crap is very cheap here.
