So yesterday we totally got nailed by a bunch of earthquakes. They started at maybe 6:00 at night and just didn't stop. At least two of them were really strong, at least 6 on the Japanese scale, while all the rest were probably just aftershocks in the 4 range or so. Even one of the Shinkansen trains was derailed. The creepy part was that they kept happening over and over again. Nothing really bad happened to me though. Some of my stuff that was precariously arranged fell over, and that's about it around here.
In other news, I got a new phone. It is the W21SA from AU, which means I have switched from Vodafone to AU. The plan costs about the same per month, although it comes with unlimited flat rate packets so it can end up costing less although I will use the internet incessantly. So I can send emails with pictures and download all sorts of stupid crap for free. So I can take really big moblog photos now. Among the features are a two megapixel camera with autofocus, and built-in FM radio, A nice GPS navigation system, Optical Character Recognition (through the camera), and really gigantic screen. Apparently you can also play Final Fantasy on it, but I doubt I will. There's already enough things about it to distract me from studying. Now I have to write everyone and tell them my new phone number and address. What a pain in the ass.
