So my town of Koshigaya made the news today all over the country. Today was the hottest day every recorded in Koshigaya, with a high of 40.4 degrees Celsius, which is 104.7 for all you people using Fahrenheit. It was one of the highest temperatures recorded today in Japan, although a new national record was also set at 40.9 degrees somewhere else. 9 people died from the heat in Japan today. I only went outside for like 1 minute, and it felt like my eyeballs were going to melt out of my face. Other than that ill-advised sojourn to the convenience store, I have stayed directly under the air conditioner all day. It's supposed to get cooler next month, so I'm just going to wait here until then.
